Michael Waters completed his Bachelor of Arts (Griffith University) in 1996, followed by his Bachelor of Laws (Hons) (Queensland University of Technology) in 2001.

Michael was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia in 2002. He also has a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology.

More recently, Michael graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (G.A.I.C.D).

Michael regularly presents and speaks at seminars throughout Queensland and Australia on topics such as employment law, industrial relations and workplace health and safety.
